A Mobile Desktop?

Going to have to file this one under weird and funny. To most people, the very idea of dragging a full sized, hopelessly out of date computer into a local Starbucks is perceived as simply insane, rightfully so. But what about doing something like this as a social experiment? Ah, that is where the unforeseen comedy comes into play.

You have to admit, the old CRTs and suitcases added a nice touch to the entire affair. Besides, how wild would it be to walk into a local coffee shop only to see people lugging in their PCs from home just for the wireless access? Can’t speak for everyone, but something tells me most people would be doing a serious double-take if nothing else. What is the weirdest thing you have ever seen at a Starbucks coffee shop in your neck of the woods?

lmao, great find. I love when people do creative things like this. Next time I go to McDonalds I might bring my iMac with me lol.

That Improv Everywhere group was the same bunch that had a group go into a Best Buy with kakhis and blue polo shirts (no logo, just blue shirt)… and customers were starting to ask them questions about products.

The desktop in a starbucks clip is hilarious, the stares they get from the other patrons are priceless.
