I have to say, this is one of the most compelling things I have seen in a very long time. Coolness factor, value and ease of use, all with one simple idea – try it before buying it.

Each of the elements of the phones, is something you can try. This is not some lame Flash thing that you get to spin around in circles. So long as it is sane for the phone to do so, you can manipulate just about every feature of any given mobile phone with the exception of placing actual phone calls.

Want to try the iPhone, over the Internet? TryPhone makes this possible. I was able to do everything from browse YouTube videos to testing out the browser. I was disappointed that the on-screen keyboard was a total bust. But other than that, it felt a lot like an iPhone!
