To Tweak A Router - UStream Testing Continues

Thus far, my ustream experiment has gone fairly well. I had the audio off as I was getting myself, my wife, etc, used to the idea of not being able to yell out whatever came to mind as we were indeed streaming live. Starting Friday, I will be streaming my audio along with video. Having tested the on-board mic already, I can attest to how great the sound is considering this is a mid-range cost webcam.
But what I would like to know is why in the heck ustream honestly thinks that I am going to want to upload my recorded videos from their service to something like Blip.tv? Blip is fine, but it doesn’t even begin to hold a candle to YouTube’s viewer numbers. So basically, ustream is limiting me, unless I am to go out and use Windows, purchase software I really do not want or need, then have it upload the video to a bunch of networks, which is fine. I just need ustream to upload my work to YouTube, why is this so hard for ustream to make happen? Is YouTube holding them back? Doesn’t sound like it.
How do I upload directly to services like Blip.tv?
You can automatically upload your recorded broadcasters to services like Blip.tv. To do this, first go to My Profile, then click Upload APIs. Enter your login information for the respected site and click Save. Now go to My Videos, click Upload to Blip.tv (or another service). Your file will be transferred directly to your video storing site.
Um, I did this and it is either going to be Blip.tv or forget it, there are no ’sites’, just Blip. Not impressed at all…
