When one of my favorite Ubuntu related project devs posted this, I had to smile. I have been using a dirty set of bash scripts to do much of the same thing for over a year now. So knowing that Alberto has created something clean with a decent UI is fantastic news! Just one question - where is his download link?
To those that have been asking about my own variation of this, this is for you. We tried to make this a command line workable application thanks to some help from other Ubuntu users, but at this point it remains a double click set of bash scripts, which is easier for the newbie anyway. Go ahead and download it yourself, tweak what you will and use Code.Google.com for any feedback of to help me develop it. In the meantime, I am going to be emailing Alberto to see if he might create a GUI for my Firefox backup script as well.
