IntelliEnterprise Version 8.0 provides a complete out-of-the-box intranet solution that does not require custom development . The latest version adds community and collaboration features to IntelliEnterprise, including wikis, blogs, streaming video, user ratings, and comments for all documents and other content, extended tagging and tag clouds, and enhanced workgroups. The release also includes an organization chart portlet, AJAX support for all existing portlets, and integration of Microsoft Reporting Services, along with other enhancements.
IntelliEnterprise is an integrated suite that offers traditional Intranet functionality, including dashboards, content and document management, search and workflow. It also includes an Application Builder module that enables quick creation, assembly and customization of applications such as CRM, asset manager, issue manager, event/meeting manager, recruiting requisitions, job candidate tracker, knowledge base/FAQ, help desk, private and public calendars, task lists, and Web mail.
IntelliEnterprise can be updated, so ownership for maintaining the intranet can be shared across the organization, helping to ensure that the portal stays up-to-date without placing a heavy burden on the IT department.
