No Word Yet On The Virtual Town Hall Meeting

After going back and forth with the Geek Squad founder for nearly a month, I have all but given up on having him participate in my idea of a virtual town hall meeting for repair techs, IT people and just geeks in general. Because it was his inclusion that held this whole thing up in the first place, I am pushing forth the decision to tell him forget it. Not the meeting mind you, but continuing to postpone this based on the need to get him included. Don’t get me wrong, I think it would have been super cool, but I need to make this happen and here is how we are going to do it.

Last time Chris and I spoke about this, we agreed that his Live Stream provided the best “ready to go” forum for such a thing. Video conferencing, call-ins, and live chat should all be totally doable from his home office. I say this as there was talk of me simply driving down to Seattle to invade his home for a day and work directly with him to get the discussion going. Basically, making a day of it.

Considering Chris’ video work is now an actual “channel” given the huge green light by YouTube directly, I can only agree that this is the best venue for such a thing. Oh, I never mentioned this, did I? Chris’s Q&A content is now an OFFICIAL channel over at YouTube. So while I work with Chris to get this show on the road, I would encourage you to check it out by subscribing to it directly. It’s a lot like a condensed down, no holds bared Call For Help to a certain degree. See you tomorrow!
