IT Town Hall Meeting With Geek Squad Founder?

  • No Related Post

It took some time to hear back after he first contacted me on an unrelated matter, but Robert Stephens, founder of Geek Squad, has responded back to my invitation to have a town hall type meeting via GoToWebinar. Now the first time I brought this up, there was some question as to when it would happen and what would be the subject of such an online conference.

Well the “when” is still TBA (to be determined) and the “what” is a town hall meeting about the different challenges that PC repair techs face today in the work place. Should clients be migrated from XP to Vista yet? Is it time to consider taking on that Linux education, are today’s security measures enough, which software is safe and which software has been given a free pass based on perceived pop culture status, plus a whole lot more.

Those who have already responded via email, please hang tight for the eventual final announcement. And finally, anyone who would like to participate will be welcome, but this is still sometime out. I still have some details to iron out with Robert and I am also going to see if Chris would like to make this a segment of his streaming world at Live.Pirillo.com. If all else fails, I will take this task on myself.

Matt,

The webinar with Mr. Stephens is a great idea. He is trend starter for sure. Please keep me updated on its progress. info@golfrentalandsales.com
