The Music/Movie Industry - Your Business Model Is Dying

Can’t say that I am all that surprised, but as luck would have it, the mainstream music industry has decided that receiving royalties from the online music world is just not for them. So apparently, they really would prefer to see more theft and P2P stealing. Not worry guys, I am sure that the people are FED UP with this nonsense are only too happy to oblige.
Seriously, I grasp the whole debate over DRM and subject matter involving personal usage, but to basically “tax” an entire legitimate industry out of existence is not increasing your sales, music industry. Sorry to break it to you, but this is simply a fact.
So in the end, we have to wonder what the real motivation is here? Is the industry feeling threatened by existing software options to record music streams from the Internet? Well, this sounds vaguely familiar somehow. Yes, the TV industry was toast after Betamax came along and ruined jobs and lives at an alarming rate! And besides, unlike other streaming options, it is not possible to record streams from Pandora.
You know it’s funny, I cannot even begin to tell you the last time I bought DRM protected music or even listened to archaic radio station. But hey, that’s fine. I have not problem at all spending my money elsewhere. In short, if the industry chooses to not support Internet radio, then I choose not to support terrestrial radio. It’s not skin off of my back, believe me.

You can save music from Pandora because they are cashed in your temporary internet files.
Just add the mp3 extencion to the files.
Cashsort does a good job extractingthese files.

Does it seem that Mircosoft is trying to follow the music industry model of self distruction? Only one hardware repair or upgrade per copy of Vista, and what is the price in blot ware to enforce this?
