It May Not Be Armed Robbery, But Even So…

Wow, and to think back when I was growing up, tossing the TP (toilet paper) over trees, houses and cars was the “thing to do” for misbehaving youths. But hacking into and then basically stealing from a company like AOL is unbelievable, regardless of the perceived rewards for the offenders misguided efforts.
It’s a sad state of affairs where someone with a skill set to create viruses to gather personal data is not instead, taking the pay cut and ensuring that they have a bright, legally sanctioned career in computer programming. Some will of course argue that these kids are merely bad eggs and are not going to change. I personally feel that this individual will pay the appropriate price (prison) and hopefully learn from it. Yes, I firmly believe that if you do the crime, you will do the time. But I also believe there must be life after this offense considering thatthis instance is not a violent offense.
Let’s just hope that after this offender pays his debt to society, he can in turn take a note from others who have made similar poor choices in this area, only to turn their lives around later. Because the only way one can fail in life is to continue to repeat the same mistakes over again. Because that folks, is the bridge between making poor choices and working toward becoming a bad person who further embraces their expansion into more poor choices in order to hone their skills as a criminal.

Hmmm.
Too bad people that are so good at building Malware and Viruses and what not dont have a real good end job. Or maybe they do. Just seems to me such a waste of talent. Then if they do got jail for crimes committed they will never get another chance to do good. After all, what software company would hire someone that tried (or did) muck up their servers?
I can almost see why major software companies are big targets, but I dont even posess a credit card leave me alone!
What a waste of Talent!
