Mac Malware On Its Way?

I still can’t wrap my mind around it on other platforms, but sure enough, discovered vulnerabilities are on the rise. Just as with Linux and Windows, any OS is bound to have exploits. And so long as those who manage these operating systems stay on top of things, we may be able to buy ourselves some time. But even then, this begs the question as to whether or not there is a threat to OS X and perhaps as Linux as well as it gains in popularity?
Give me your flaws and I will give you malware.
I would submit to you, that it makes little difference which OS we choose. The likelihood that malware has potential across the board remains as far as I am concerned. What I would like to know is, when the malware problem will begin showing up on platforms besides Windows? I still feel that Linux and the Mac are relatively safe for now, but let’s be realistic - how long can it last?

Your article is spot-on. Anybody who knows computing should understand that the MAC OS was/is no safer than the Windows OS, just less popular. Malware and Virus spreaders are basically computer terrorist that want to say oohh look at me and how bad I am… But if 95% of consumers are using one OS then they will attack that OS.
