Well, the Christmas holiday is over. And if you are reading this, then I suppose it’s safe to say you made it through the mad holiday rush at your local mall. Unfortunately, many of us may have ended up with gift cards for things that, shall we say, are simply not a good fit. Never fear, leave it to the web to provide a viable solution should you need to get rid of those pesky cards in a hurry. Enter SwapaGift.com.
Even though I have been lucky in only receiving gift cards for stores that I enjoy frequenting, I do know that some of you out there may find this to be a real lifesaver.
Hey, we all have our own thoughts on gifts and gift cards. But let’s face it, there is nothing pleasant about being given a gift card for let’s say, flowers, if you happen to be allergic to them. So I guess what I am trying to say is that sometimes, you have to remember that there are those rare occasions when it is socially acceptable to “recycle” a gift card that is simply not a great match for you. And the link given above is a great way to make that happen.
On a side note, expect to see the first batch of Linux tutes coming out after January 1st.

My question is about how secure is this swapping. What keeps someone from going on the Internet and using their old card number while the card is in the mail to you during the swap
