Gmail Is A Virus?

Simply brilliant. How in the world something like this can happen is frankly just beyond me. Granted, the issues were said to be caused due to changes made to the Gmail Web site, however, it does make one wonder a bit. I guess it all just seems kind of funny in a way; your closest competitor in the Web space also is falsely called out as a possible threat.
OK, now obviously this serves no one and is almost for sure a total oversight. Not because Microsoft wouldn’t do it, rather because it simply makes it look stupid. But you have to admit, there is a rather funny side to all of this.
The really weird side to this is Google not responding to the article. Could it have something to hide, perhaps? I certainly don’t believe so, but it does open things up for speculation, I think.

I am not aGMAIL user, but I know people with Gmail. Google interferes with every program they have- it may not be a virus, but it is more than nuisance- like a weed growing in your patch of tomatoes, it takes more than weeding the tomato patch. That is not acceptable
