More Fun With Internet Explorer

Looks as if Friday has fallen upon us and yet, I am still glued to this thing known as WordPress. In a previous report, I brought up some experiences based on my recent findings with WordPress. The WordPress install here at Lockergnome on the other hand, has been running pretty well. However my own unnamed project is still very much under development.
Today, I was delighted as I had everything setup exactly as I wanted. Things were looking perfect. Then I figured that I had better blow the dust off of Internet Explorer to make sure things were looking as they should in this aging browser (IE 6). As luck would have it, entire side bars were not being rendered in the browser as they should.
Great, so I am back to the drawing board based on one single browser that is having a tough time with content that seems to work just fine in every other browser.
In IE’s defense, the HTML coding was not completely valid according to the validator that I was working with. Still, it should not have given away such obvious visual flaws unless it was also doing the same in other browsers. Nope, it’s just in IE. Hmm, wonder if the same issue will be had in IE 7? Guess only time will tell.
