Microsoft Playing Nicely With Open Source Concepts?

Well, it’s a good start. Seriously, it proves that when Microsoft tries, it is, in fact, perfectly capable of finding a balance between its preferred licensing scheme and that of the Open Source world.

Now that Microsoft has opted to work with Zend, it is working to make sure that the Zend product is a tight fit with Microsoft-powered servers. To be honest, it’s a smart move and will serve Microsoft well within the server market.

All right, for those of you wondering if any of this is even an issue, I would point back to the linked article to say you better believe it is!

It’s refreshing to see Microsoft putting its beliefs aside in order to make sure that its server offerings are working and working well with PHP powered applications.

Think I am nuts? Concerned that Microsoft is simply doing this out of the need to stay one step ahead of Linux? Email me, let’s talk about it.

Very nice article about the tech blogging. Personally am running a tech blog and yes i believe that being too broad may result bad. As technology is a very broad topic so we need to be little specific. Its much better to cover one niche properly rather than just giving a small flavor of so many things.
