Usually, we try and give you something more related to your field of expertise here at IT Professionals, but what the heck? It’s the weekend!
iDump is a standalone tool that enables you to copy all or selected files from your iPod to your PC. It automatically detects your iPod and generates a list of the content from which you can select the files to be copied.
iDump supports output templates and can automatically create folders based on the artist and song information. You can also search your iPod by keyword, create a playlist from the selected songs, and set rules for unattended transfers.
Standalone - can run from your iPod.

I just installed idump and I keep getting a message that says Overflow in idump.modMain.Get Drive Info at line 102. How do I fix this so that I can operate idump.

I’m getting the same message every time I try to use iDump. At first, it seems like it’s scanning fine - it even shows me everything on my iPod and then, just as I’m about to copy something from my iPod to my PC, I get the same error message - Overflow in iDump.modMain.GetDriveInfo at line 102. Then, the program just quits (because retry results in the same error message). Anyone figure out a fix to this?

I used Idump to load all 4800 songs to my new itunes account and when I then tried to sync my Ipod, it completed, and then said most were not loaded as original files could not be found and it therefore erased most of these songs from my Ipod. What can i do..I’m kinda freakin out???
