Keyboard Chaos!

All right, I admit it. I have been using my notebook so often lately that I have real difficulty going back to a full-sized keyboard connected to my desktop PC. Now if I was only working off of my notebook, this in and of itself would be just fine. Unfortunately, this is simply not the case and it looks like I am facing a long road ahead in getting used to the “keyboard that was” once again.

Based on this, my question is as follows: has this ever happened to any of you? Seriously, I am interested in learning whether or not I am alone on this. Because let me tell you, I am very keyboard specific and simply do not possess the ability to drop one or another on a whim. Perhaps this is the price for working and playing on the same machines?
