Well it’s another Friday again and not a moment too soon. Things have really been hitting me hard this month as my work load has increased some. That and I am aging yet another year come the 22nd of this month.

Yes, I will have finally caught up to old man Pirillo as he has already been bestowed with the ripe old age of 33 just a couple of months back. To be honest, there really is no sense of danger to be had with this age change, so I guess I’ll have to wait until I turn 40 for any real excitement. I mean really, the big age changes are generally 21, 30, 40 and an so on, right?

But enough of all of that! Today, or should I say, in the coming weeks, I will be spending my birthday doing something totally spontaneous and unplanned. My girlfriend has informed me that she is dragging me off someplace and there is to be no checking email via my phone or pulling on the RSS feeds.

I know, it’s difficult to imagine someone such as myself being away from my email for that long. Not because of some self-inflated sense of self-importance mind you. No, rather because I am a work-a-holic and I seem to feel the need to be plugged in at all times. It’s terrible, I know. But hey, it’s Friday. So I will worry about that addiction come a later time!
