By George, I Think They Got It Feedback

Well, it seems that some folks feel otherwise.

They still have not got it!

Microsoft must start concentrating on the end user, and not its profits, or the profits of its partners. Vista will not let you install or use any application unless it has a valid Microsoft signature. Products such as Nero Ultra, Diskeeper, SpySweeper, and a large host of anti-spyware/malware applications will not run. In truth, Microsoft has disabled the user’s choice to run security software of their choice, and other software the user wishes to use, thus the end user’s freedom of choice is denied.

My take on this is to stick with XP, because with it, at least Microsoft lets you choose to install and use software and drivers i.e. camcorders, DVI, and digital cameras that are not signed by Microsoft but are designed to work with the hardware you are using.

No, Microsoft wants the $2,000,000 for the approved MS signature before it will install and or work.

I say to MS: Give the end user their rights to freedom of choice back in Vista, or do not release it. You are attempting to control the user’s system, and eventually by doing so will control the Internet as more users switch to this system, forcing other businesses out of business.
