Today someone brought up and interesting point regarding the “Dell battery issue”. Simply put, they’re created by Sony and yet myself and others are ripping on Dell about it. Why?

The answer to this is actually very simple - point me to an article regarding an explosive Sony Vaio. Seriously, I would be thrilled to point this out as a Sony problem if it was in fact, Sony computers going into melt down.

Unfortunately, we are seeing Dell falling victim here and not Sony. And to be honest, Dell has been a royal pain in my butt anyway back when I was still doing PC repairs. No joke, if I had a dollar for every time I would go to set-up a new Dell for a client only to have it Blue Screen on me right out of the box, I could by a new PC myself.

So there it is. Yes, above I have outlined why I myself among others are holding Dell responsible for this mistake. The battery thing is not the first stupid thing that Dell allowed to slip past their “quality control” dept. And to be frank, I doubt it will be the last, either.
