Which PIM Best Meets Your Needs?

So now the big question has to be exactly what PIM do you use in your life that helps to keep you sane? Myself personally, I have found myself partial to Outlook 2003. It has not only given me access to email when I need it, but it also allow me to stay up to date on all of the day’s happenings as they come to pass.
Now I realize that both the Linux crowd and the Mac crowd may have a completely different take on this completely. If this is the case or rather, you use one of these alternative OS’, I would be interested in hearing all about the options that you find helpful. Maybe you have found a really great “gold in the rough” you’d like to share. Hey, I am always open to alternative PIMs. My only thing is that they must sync to either my Palm based PDA or at least to my Windows Mobile based phone. If you have something that can do this, I would be excited to hear about it. After all, it never hurts to have a back-up in case I lose interest in the whole “Outlook scene”.

I too use a Palm-based PDA (Palm TX). I have always synced to Palm’s Desktop applications, but have recently lost Calendar data because of corrupted data (which Palm support can neither explain nor tell me how to prevent happening again) and am therefore considering switching to synchronizing with Outlook on my PC (I’m also tired of Palm Desktop’s inability to enlarge its font size). Are there data corruption problems when syncronizing a Palm with Outlook? Is there any maximum number of calendar events in Outlook (I doubt it)? If I do switch to Outlook should I use a pre-2007 version?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
