Over the years, I have used a number of registry repair tools. Unfortunately, most of them left a lot to be desired. The one that was bundled with Norton System Works was “all right,” but did not do a very good job at error resolution. More often than not, it would simply give me the option to “ignore” the problem, which left me scratching my head as to why I ever bothered to use the product in the first place?

Then a few weeks back I was asked to give Registry Booster a shot. And so I did…

First impressions-
My first impression - very clean. Everything was well laid out and I had no trouble at all distinguishing between the registry optimizer and the repair tool itself. Between the large buttons and the helpful tabbed interface, I felt quite safe in proceeding further…

Performance-
This app is fast. Now granted, my machine is not anything to be laughed at with regard to overall performance. Regardless, this application was able to back-up my registry “with the quickness” and with even more speed, move right on into the repair process itself. Now I have to be honest here. The registry on this particular PC has been largely ignored since the day I installed the OS. Perhaps this makes me forgetful; nevertheless, there it is. Even with the large number of errors found within the scan, Registry Booster was able to make those needed repairs happen in under a minute. Best of all, no excuses on not being able to resolve a problem like I have seen with other applications. This I like!

And you know what, I happen to agree with everything that was stated above. Registry Booster is an exceptional product. While I would ask them to consider full use of the product for a 3-day period versus the limited number of corrections to the registry during the course of the trial mode, I still highly recommend this application.
