MINNEAPOLIS – March 8, 2006 – Ontrack Data Recovery today announced the expansion of its facility in France to provide faster recovery service and offer French-speaking customers increased security for their data. This expansion will include a new data recovery lab complete with fully operational cleanroom, ensuring that all physically damaged drives from the French market will be serviced in country.
“By adding cleanroom capabilities to our French office, Ontrack is further developing our position as the global leader in the data recovery industry,” said Todd Johnson, vice president of Operations for Ontrack Data Recovery. “With a technical capacity equal to our other European recovery labs, the French location will be able to provide enhanced service to customers in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and all French-speaking African countries.”
The new cleanroom – a work area in which the air quality, temperature and humidity are highly regulated in order to protect sensitive equipment from contamination – will benefit customers by allowing Ontrack’s highly-trained engineers to speed recovery jobs and avoid sending physically damaged drives to another European facility. This will also provide an increased level of security as drives will no longer need to be shipped across international borders for cleanroom processing. Ontrack recently added several new locations throughout Europe with the acquisition of Ibas Holdings ASA, a leading Norwegian-based provider of data recovery, data erasure and computer forensics services. Ontrack now offers data recovery service in 13 languages in more than 21 countries.
