Boy, just when you think you have one thing taken care of, something else seems to come up. Take my broken keyboard for instance. Hardly what I’d call ‘broken in’ just yet, my keyboard’s space key is all messed up, thus forcing me to replace it at the store today.

Normally this would not be such a huge deal except for the fact that spent a fair penny on it and really hate to have to buy a brand new one. At first, I almost figured that I might be able to hobble along with it for awhile, but with each passing key stroke I am beginning to see that I did the right thing by replacing it.

It could have been a lot worse. For instance, it could have been my external hard drive that decided to give out on me. That puppy has a lot of data backed-up that would prove pretty unfortunate as I do not have a total back-up for a lot of the content recently added to it. Trying to recover from that would be quite messy indeed.

Well, as this weekend approaches, I welcome it with open arms. While a fair part of it will likely be a working weekend, at least I will have some opportunity to get some rest in. And from the way things have been going this week, that is just fine by me. Goodbye Friday, hello Saturday! See you all Monday, folks.
