Chris Rock Meets Google?

Seems like more and more media sources are willing to test the waters of Internet TV now a days. Heck, just a few months ago, you would not likely see any sort of mainstream TV being shown on the Internet out of fear of misdirecting the audience.
Today, however, things just feel different. I read that one new program from UPN has actually released via Google Video. Yes, folks, Chris Rock, a real TV show and Google. To any of you left still not convinced that Google is venturing outside of the world of computing had better wake up. I am beginning to suspect that Google Video could potentially become the famed IPTV that everyone has been so desperately trying to cram down our throats over the past year.
It may have taken Google a while to get the idea of Television over Internet off the ground in a truly big way, but from what I am seeing, it really is beginning to happen. Cartoon Network offers some of its programing online now, and Battlestar Galactica (the remake) has been available online from the get go. For the first time since cable TV, I believe that we are going to see a major shift in the way people watch television. It may not happen all at once, but it is happening whether we like it or not.
