CallWave For Your Mobile?

Any of you remember that service known as CallWave? You know, it was designed to allow you to take a voicemail message and even provide the ability to listen in on the person calling while your Internet connection was tying up the phone line. For its time, it was a great service to have, and I used it clear up till I went cable Internet a few years back.
Well guess what? Not only are they still offering that same service, but they now offer the coolest mobile service that I have seen yet. Check this out: Assuming you are a CallWave Mobile user already, you can listen in ‘live’ as someone leaves you a voicemail. Now for the cool part. Not only can you jump in right then and there to take the call, but you can also transfer the call to a landline while talking to the person on the mobile! I think this could be really useful for my business. I mean think about it; rather than deal with gobbling up your ‘anytime mobile minutes,’ tell your caller that you are going to transfer them to your office phone. Makes sense to me, especially for those of us living in homes that have dead signal spots to deal with.
CallWave also has residential and business services as well, if you are into that. But for mobile users, this strikes me as a potential money saver when compared to talking past the allotted anytime minutes for your calling plan. Seriously, it doesn’t happen often. But when it does, it can really ruin your day…
