Somebody should use that as their tag line! Well, after great input from the gnomie community and some good old fashioned “let my fingers do the walking,” I’ve come to a happy conclusion on my insurance quest.

While State Farm does offer business liability insurance, my particular State Farm agent doesn’t handle that specific type. However, he did refer me to a reputable insurance broker that represents a variety of different underwriters. I ended up with a very reasonable General Liability package with Safeco Insurance. I was extremely happy to see that 12 months cost me much less than the $1,000 figure I was resigning myself to. I feel fairly relieved, I have to admit, to have this coverage. I also feel somewhat more legitimate now - not to imply I didn’t feel that way before. But I can now provide proof of insurance to anybody who asks for it.
