Well, as Gnomedex came to a close, I found that I learned a lot in addition to making some amazing contacts. In the interest of moving on with current events, however, I will say that you can read tons about all the wonders of Gnomedex both at my Weblog and at Technorati.

Moving on, I am hearing news that HP is being sued left and right for everything under the sun. Some of the most recent lawsuits include everything from employee discrimination to not including recovery CDs with newly-purchased PCs. Speaking strictly from a personal perspective, I think that the recovery CD lawsuit is awesome! HP has been screwing its personal computer users for years. Unspeakably horrible support, poor products, and so on. And to cap things off with only offering a recovery partition is so stupid that it is almost impossible to grasp. What, offering that CD is just that much money for ya, HP? Gimme a break.

While I am not really a fan of any pre-built PC manufacturer, I would still love to see some other company take HP out of the PC business completely. Time to get a clue, HP. Perhaps that catalog of lawsuits that you are dealing with will help to lift those eyelids for ya!
