Are you ready for Gnomedex this year, folks? I know I am! With the big event taking place in Seattle this year, I have the opportunity to attend this great event right from within my own state of residence.

In addition to being part of all the great things that this convention has to offer, I am also hoping to have some good news of my own to share as the festivities begin. As I have mentioned in the past, there are two projects that I am working on in which I am hoping to be able to announce soon.

The first one is a solo project that I am hoping will prove to be not only beneficial to myself, but of real value to those who participate, as well. It is going to be pretty cool actually, assuming I ever get the time to put the finishing touches on it so I can get it launched.

The other project is still very much in the planning stages, but could potentially be very exciting once we get underway. Because there are still a number of factors and questions that need to be sorted, I have to be pretty careful not to divulge too much information here. I will, however, tell you this: When it is announced, you will not miss it. Trust me.

Moving onto things of the past, some of you may be wondering where those interviews are that I promised. Well, ‘audio messaging’ or not, it looks like I will have to try another approach to getting them recorded. Unfortunate and perhaps even a little inconvenient, I feel that the audio quality does need to be better than what I ended up with before I can safely release the contents into the wilds of the Lockergnome listenership.

Both of the interviewees have been notified of the possibility of this happening. And now, as it turns out, it is no longer an uncertainty. No worries though, I am confident that the interviews will be just as informative and insightful as they would have been the first time around. Besides, sometimes things like this happen.
