I just got the latest newsletter from CertTalk.com, and its new Web site is up and running in test form. It has made a lot of changes - it states:

…we’ve added a huge knowledge base, free study guides, free cram guides, plus Flash-based online quizzes to test your knowledge. We’ve brought back the maniacal AJ Axline, who has been featured and well-received in The Cert Times, and for you hardware junkies Da Man… Scott Mueller, author of the computer bible Upgrading and Repairing PCs.

It also has free practice tests and forums. Take a look around - it sounds like a useful site.

We are building a community for everyone to talk about, hence the name “CertTalk.com.” Our goal is to provide a community free of brain dump style advertising and products that won’t jeopardize all the hard work you put into earning and maintaining your professional certification.

Other sites either charge for their study material or are emblazoned with ads from known and suspected “cheat’ sites. CertTalk.com is a cheat-free zone where you can get solutions to questions and problems, find study and learning resources, informative newsletters, and when you need to, kick back and relax, get a good laugh, play some games, and relieve a little stress.

We aren’t ad free and don’t expect to be. But if you want a good place to get free quality materials, someone has to pay the bills. Those “someone’s” are interested in getting their products and services in front of you, and what better way to do so than after you’ve saved money getting free stuff on CertTalk.com?
