#1 E-Marketer Newegg.com Adds Accordance RAID Products To Its Data Storage Line

Low cost Accordance ARAID line provides drop-in RAID1 hard disk data protection for Windows, Mac or Linux PCs.
Newegg.com. The companies have entered into a sales and marketing agreement to promote ARAID products for IT and home users needing easy to use and simple to install hard disk redundancy on their PCs.

The Accordance ARAID storage product line provides internal and external RAID devices that are easily installed to computers without requiring any additional software or hardware. ARAID products maintain redundant images on two hard drives at all times. In the event of a hard disk failure, the ARAID system automatically switches to the surviving drive without computer interruption. The user is notified of the failure so that they can switch out the bad drive as soon as possible.

“We are thrilled to add Accordance leading RAID products to Newegg’s family storage products,” said Jay Yong, Director of Product Management of  Newegg.com. “ARAID controllers provide a powerful, easy-to-use, and affordable data redundancy storage solution for any PC system in the home or back office.”

The Accordance ARAID line consists of internal and external units that support IDE and SATA disk storage. Installation is simple since the ARAID device requires no software or hardware to use. The device appears as a single hard drive but simultaneously writes to two 3.5″ or 2.5″ drives which provides a 100% redundant copy and automatic switchover if one of the hard drives should fail.

“ARAID is the easiest and most effective data protection strategy for PC systems,” says Steve Johnson, President of Accordance Systems USA. “Running with two drives is your best insurance for keeping your data protected from hard drive failures. We are pleased to have Newegg to add our leading RAID products to their PC storage family.”
