There is just no getting around it. Coming down with the flu simply sucks, pure and simple. Unfortunately, I am not really able to justify sick days with my chosen profession, so I simply make do with what I have to work with (namely, lots of medicine)! While I would love to be one of those folks who could simply take a sick day and lay in bed, I have to get my duties done for the day, regardless.

On an unrelated topic, Brandon Watts and I have successfully launched our own show called Changing Media. So far, the response has been great! Those of you who have been listening to it seem to have plenty of good things to say about it and those of you who have not, well, I would suggest you give it a whirl.

The nuts and bolts concept about the show is to offer up our perspectives on technology related subjects that matter to you, the listener. We have worked hard to provide you with a quality show and feel that we have a lot to offer.

Once things settle down a little, we will be implementing both interviews and even taking your calls via voicemail (since this is a pre-recorded show) that we will share with you. As Brandon and I have both expressed here recently, we are very much open to your suggestions and comments. Most important though folks, this is your show - we are merely hosting it.

OK, OK, so is this considered a Podcast, then? Yes, by truest definition I suppose it would be. Having said this, I feel that calling it a Blogcast is more accurate as we are not offering this to iPod users only.

Now one last thing that I wanted to cover before I conclude this report: No matter how bad this flu is, I will make sure there is a show for Monday. We have put too much time into this to have the show get skipped a week merely because of some silly flu bug. You can count on both of us being there with our show ready to go from our Podcast-ready RSS feed for you on Monday. That, my friends, you can take to the bank. ;o)
