Tune-In to Wireless Tech Radio

I’ve been off the Gnomie radar for over a week, dealing with some various family and personal stuff, but I’m back with a vengence. If you got the opportunity, tune in to WirelessTechRadio to listen to yours truly do a segment on Wi-fi basics and favorite Wi-Fi products. My segment will air 7:35AM Pacific (10:35AM Eastern) on Wednesday, January 19. Just go to the Web site and click the “listen live” button. Wish me luck on my Internet Radio debut!

I caught, quite literally, the tail end of CES 2005 in Las Vegas. I only saw a fraction of what the show had to offer, but I hope to make it in 2006 for the entire show. I was impressed by how many small companies were there, with some very innovative products. I ended up at the Creative booth for a good hour trying to win a Creative Zen Micro or Zen Touch MP3 player. No dice. Just a T-Shirt. I’m bummed I wasn’t at the keynote address where Mr. Bill had problems with a Windows XP MCE box. Look for the video, it’s pretty funny. I also read that an XBox demo at CES had a Blue Screen of Death. Do you think Bill ever gets jealous of Steve Jobs and his slick Macworld keynotes? Probably not.
