So, where is this ‘part two’ of the Xandros version 3 review that I promised would be up today? Well, before you starting throwing lettuce at me, let me explain. Starting the day before yesterday, things appeared that they were destined to be complicated.

It all started as I was on my way to return a computer that I had just spent the better part of the previous evening fixing. As I headed down the private road where my client lived, I ended up getting stuck on a huge sheet of ice. Right at that moment, I made the decision that the client was definitely on the back burner. Somehow, I needed to figure out a way to get off of this ice, like, yesterday!

After spending entirely too much time trying to get back onto the main road, I then decided to take a smart move and just head home. The next day, I needed to get a network set up at a client’s business. After getting a late start, I ended up spending the better part of the night trying to troubleshoot the new network that, by all rights, should have been fine. It turned out to be a weird anomaly that I finally managed to rectify. But when you are networking Windows machines with Linux computers, the strange is bound to happen.

So, at this point I headed to bed for a few hours’ sleep. Since it was Thursday, already, I developed this feeling like I was forgetting something… THE REVIEW, MATT! As I came to the sudden realization that I had not had a chance to finish my part 2 to the Xandros review, I figured I’d better make it darned clear as to why. Now, rather than dwelling on the fact that I still had some pieces to put together before this would be ready for public consumption, I figured we’re just better off moving on until next week.

And it is on that note that I offer my apologies. I am happy to let you know that I will be finishing it up this weekend for the final release then on Tues. So chin up folks, the last part of the review is on its way! ;o)
