I’m heading to Lost Wages, er I mean Las Vegas on Saturday… just in time to catch the tail end of the CES. When my wife and I settled on dates, it was a coincidence that there was some overlap with this show (she thinks otherwise). We are truly going for some quick R&R. Chicago got hit with some significant snow this week, and while the weather in Vegas isn’t optimal, it’s still better than here.

I want to cruise through the main show floor to see what trinkets I can collect (if there are any left by then), and see what new products are out that might benefit myself or my clients. I’m curious about a lot of the new home entertainment products, specifically TVs and the like, as well as various and sundry wireless networking offerings. So after I stuff my face at the Bellagio Brunch, I’ll work it off at the Convention Center.

I’ve decided to leave the laptop at home; it’s a short trip, and if I really, really need to catch up on e-mail, I’m sure I can find somewhere to do that.
