A little company called Marqui is creating a stir because it’s paying bloggers like me to write about its product. It does clearly state on its Web site that bloggers are expected to be honest about the product. Already, several people have indicated my choice to do this is going to kill the trust people have in me.

I store explained why I am doing this and that I am treating this like any other product or book I review… with honesty. Most of you know Paul has been out of work since March 2003, so we need all the help possible. If the company didn’t allow bloggers to provide honest feedback, I would’ve never taken this on. Furthermore, it’s an experiment with online and word-of-mouth marketing. Does this change your mind about me?
