I’ve recently been sharing a little bit about my own experiences with Attention Deficit Disorder in my blog, a condition that I didn’t even believe in until after more than two decades of living with it. This inspired some discussions that have led me to write a rather extensive article about my experiences as they relate to computers.

Considering both the topic and audience this is geared towards, I’ve decided to publish this as a series of short articles rather than a single, epic work. The first installment has been published at Lineman.net. There isn’t much meat to Part 1, but I had to start somewhere.

If any Gnomies out there have experiences with ADD and computing that they’d be willing to share, I’d appreciate hearing them! With permission, I’d like to pass those experiences along to those who could benefit from them in the remaining installments of this series.
