Its pretty simple actually. Each email a server sends would have a Encryption key in the headers. The Server receiving this key would contact the sending server back to validate it sent this message. This would make it impossible for spammers to mask their IP address which is the main way they send email. The Email Protocol was never created with the thought it would be abused by so many. So basically Email as we know it would be ditched for a new protocol. Just think how many companies will go bankrupted when Spam is no longer an issue. In the Future we will get to tell our kids about Spam like our Grandparents tell us about the Depression.
