Hospital Security and Privacy

Posted by on Nov 17, 2004 | 2 Comments

After the recent experience of having my daughter born in a local hospital, I learned quite a bit about how hospitals make use of technology as well as how they handle security and privacy issues. While our family’s experience with the doctors was fantastic, the nurses and general staff left much to be desired. I would even say that some of the things I saw were, quite arguably, absolute negligence. In other cases, the hospital had good policies but simply did not follow through with their own plans.
