Beta 2 of Microsoft’s 2005 SQL Server product was issued last week to some 300,000 testers, greatly expanding the base of customers getting a peek at what’s new, and the number of problems encountered prior to release. So far, most are fairly positive on the latest beta, citing far better performance than the first beta, as well as stability improvements.
