DailyLit: Great Stories, Knowledge Delievered To Your E-mail

Technology is making massive adjustments to a great deal of everyday elements of life; one of the most prominent ones is that of reading material. From the ancient drawings of the caveman, to the miraculous events of the Holy Bible, from the “death-mark’d love” of Romeo and Juliet to the mysteries of The Da Vinci Code, reading and writing has developed and changed hugely over the years - and so is the way that it is presented to us.

Personally, I don’t think you’d ever find anything better than being able to touch, to feel and to hold a good piece of literature. The book on paper gives you a sense of belonging - but with the more modern introduction of the eBook and its counterparts, these aspects are revolutionizing our interpretation of fiction and fact. Why carry around tons of books when you can store hundreds on your rather flash and appealing new eBook reader?

To keep up with the changes, I’ve decided that I’d post a great site which is as advanced as that of the eBook. Have you ever found yourself trying to read more or improve your general knowledge and yet you can never be bothered to walk or drive to the library or search the internet. This site, DailyLit, abolishes that requirement and allows an entire range of fiction and non-fiction literature and books, whether they be free and in the public domain or paid for, to be posted to your e-mail inbox at anytime of the day; whenever you specify.

What is even better, is that if you’re not an avid reader and you like to read in small amounts, the site breaks books and literature down into smaller installments which they claim can be read in under 5 minutes a day, so over time, you’ll be able to gain knowledge and intelligence and enjoy your book at ease with something that you’ll check every day, and it won’t block up your time. The site allows users to enter their e-mail addresses and specify on which days of the week they would like an installment posted to them. The site simply makes reading online and eBooks easy.

As well as a range of public domain and popular books such as works of Dickens and Shakespeare and the Holy Bible, the site also has published books, some of which acquire a small fee (just like purchasing a book in a store), as well as more personally written eBooks by not so notorious authors. You can also register to the site, chat on the forum or read and leave reviews.
