Technology: Should it take over?

In the 1870s, Alexander Bell and Elisha Gray invented the concept of the telephone, and in the 1920s John Logie Baird invented the television. These were amazing changes to technology, and the way people looked at it. People could talk to someone without leaving the house, and they could see entertainment on a screen without having to do a thing.
And, these were succesful inventions and that is why we still use them today (larger and more advanced of course). However, as things continue to change in the wonderful world of techno, it’s hard to think when it’s going to stop. How long is it going to be until technology can do just about everything for us? Is that something you’d like too see? Or are you someone that enjoys and likes technology but would like to still see traditional ways of doing things? The one, main question is: Should technology take over?

I think it is inevitable that technology should rule the world one day, however we can prevent such a thing by keeping humans in control of everything. The machines can take over the industry and the jobs, and all the machines should have to do is bring in income for humans. I think we should have machines that are programmed to help humans and not get any the wiser about the environment. Unfortunately however we already have machines that do the exact opposite. We are starting to make smart machines that can learn, and if they can learn then they can learn that humans are violent. Technology should only be invented and extended to a certain point, then be disbanded.

Technology will take over I am sure. Of course there will be reduce of jobs, but new ones will open. If there is less manual work and more technical work then most the population will work on technology. This will make technology grow even quick then ever. There will be 3 main jobs in the future, teachers, engineers, and programmers. Everything around us will grow quicker and quicker.
