I have been tracking Hurrucane Ike for quite a while now. It has gone from Category 4 to Category 1 and now back to Cat 2. Evacutation advisories are posted for just north of Corpus Christi all the way up to Houston. It is expected to be a strong Category 3 when it makes landfall [...]

It looks llike New Orleans can definitely breath a sigh of relief as Ike continues a path towards the Texas coast.

The latest model run of the forecast is showing that Ike is most likely to hit Texas than Louisiana or anywhere close to New Orleans. There is still ONE model that has it turning more to the north, but most are trending towards Texas. So, everyone still keep an eye out. If it keeps on [...]

The latest forecast track of Ike has it moving into the Gulf with the possibility of impacting the same area that was impacted by Gustav. I am sure all eyes will be on Ike this week as we all hope that the people of New Orleans are not impacted again.
