WeatherBug StreamerRT version 4.4 Has Been Deployed

WeatherBug StreamerRTReal time weather tracking software WeatherBug StreamerRT has been deployed into its new 4.4 release. Designed to provide users with access to immediate data collection, alerting and tracking capabilities, this new release of StreamerRT was rolled out with some additional upgrades and changes.

New benefits for the end user:

  • Drag and drop layering functionality has been added to StreamerRT. This feature will enable users to simply click on a layer and drag it to the top of the order for quick, easy layer changes.
  • Movable map tips. These have been added enabling users to click on and move the map tip to another desired location on the screen for improved screen visibility.
  • Layer order and animation settings. These settings are now saved in views.
  • Single Site Radar:  Provides  access to individual WSR-88D Doppler radar with 4-letter ID locations to a map and a data layer to the data view pane.
  • Single Site Data  initially available for display and animation:

    ·        Base Reflectivity I – 124nmi range, angle = 0.5 degrees

    ·        Base Velocity I – 124nmi range, angle = 0.5 degrees

    ·        Storm Relative Velocity I – 124nmi range, angle = 0.5 degrees

There are some additional features, yet to be rolled out in the next few weeks. We’ll add them here, once they go live.
