WeatherBug Android Apps Update 2.2.79

AndroidIt’s been something that I know many in the Android community have been waiting for. Today, I want to announce the release of WeatherBug for Android v2.2.79. This update series is for both the free and paid editions.

With this release, a number of bug fixes plus other great changes have been added to the mix. They are as follows.

Changes Made

  • Added sunrise/sunset times (not available until new Direct feed is deployed)
  • Added settings to use GPS and/or Network location fix types
  • Integration into global search
  • Better in app location search
  • Show day/night details for international forecast (not available until

Bugs fixed

  • Fixed blank widgets bug
  • Fixed “loading” in the temperature notification bug
  • Fixed widget layouts for WVGA (Droid)
  • Tuned location fixes for better performance
  • Fixed map tiling to show worldwide layers
