WeatherBug With Your Joomla Install!

JoomlaAnyone who has worked with Joomla realizes what a powerful web based solution it can be with the right hands on the development end of any given website. In this spirit, I was thrilled to learn that we have someone who has taken the time to create a WeatherBug Joomla module.

The case for its creation is simple enough: bringing the option of localized weather via the WeatherBug API onto Joomla installs in which adding a weather reporting function would be of benefit to end users.

WeatherBug has been promoting its API with every opportunity, working to connect developers with access to the WeatherBug weather network. And with new additions and benefits coming to the API all the time, it is clearly the best weather API available on the market today.

A Widget of your very own!

So what about those of you who have web pages, but might not have access to Joomla as it is not what you are using? Never fear, I can show you two great widget options you can use to bring the local accuracy of WeatherBug straight to your site’s visitors.

  • WeatherBug Widgets (Official)- Just select the size and type of weather widget you wish to share, then simply copy and paste the provided code into your site’s page. It’s just that easy!
  • Widgetbox WeatherBug Widget- Widgetbox’s widget does what the official widgets above do, plus they also allow the site visitors to create their own with great ease. This way they can share their local weather as well.
