Google I/O And WeatherBug

Two of WeatherBug’s own participated at the May I/O Developer conference sponsored by Google.
While at the event, conference attendees were given an opportunity to see WeatherBug Elite for Google Android. Considering the success of the previous WeatherBug app for the Android platform, it is expected that WeatherBug Elite will do well here too.

As one might expect from any of the new WeatherBug mobile apps, WeatherBug Elite for Android will include severe weather alerts, detailed weather maps and animated radar.
Is WeatherBug available for other mobile platforms as well?
Yes, as a matter of fact, you can access WeatherBug data on just about any mobile phone imaginable. The popular mobile platforms supported with dedicated apps however, include BlackBerry, BlackBerry Storm, Google G-1, the iPhone and of course Windows Mobile.
Those interested in using the existing app for Google Android, can do so from the “News and Weather” section of Android Marketplace.
