I could hardly believe this when it first rolled into my inbox today, but it seems the the CBS program known as “Two and a Half Men” has been seen using the Windows WeatherBug application during a recent episode. WeatherBug’s own JD explains:

Here’s the story: Over the weekend I watched an episode where Alan (John Cryer) buys two web cams so he and his son Jake (Angus T. Jones) can see each other when they aren’t together. During a scene where Alan and Jake are talking over the webcam, the camera panned in very close to the computer screen while Jake was on the webcam. I noticed something very cool on their desktop and system tray …

It was WeatherBug! With only a few icons on the desktop, WeatherBug was prominently displayed as an icon and the logo was in the system tray (no temp because I’m sure they weren’t internet connected). Luckily I have DVR so I rewound and paused the show so I could take a quick snap of the screen. For any TaaHM fans, you’ll recognize Jake’s face on camera.

I thought it was really cool and wanted to share with everyone. We were displayed in one of the top-rated comedies on television!
