SiO2 Interactive is a new upstart company set to work on mobile gaming platforms like the PSP, Nintendo DS, and the iPhone. The video above shows of a tech demo of their engine running on the iPhone simulator. As you can see the graphics look amazing and the scope of the world in the demo is pretty impressive.

The company is hard at work using this engine in their new game RPG  Stones of Arcania,. Before the full game is released they are going to send out a demo to show of the game, here is some details,

“The demo should provide a 2 to 4 hours of gameplay and bring the player into the world of Arcania as well as exploring several different area such as the Clearing, Mountains, Dungeon and the first town. The player will be taken into the story, explore controls, as well as the battle system giving a great overall feel of the game and will get to know the main characters of the game such as Abby, Herbert, Vincent and the tragic story of Volko the Prince Rogue!

There’s not a whole lot of information out for this title at the time but the demo shows off how amazing this game can be. I will post more information when it becomes available, but if you want more technical information on the engine visit there website.
