Tank Ace 1944 Released

Full 3-D tank mayhem is now available for the iPhone in the form of Tank Ace 1944 by Chillingo LTD.

This game is a full 3-D tank shot em up where you have to destroy all the enemies off of the map before they destroy you. This is the same game that is out for Palm, BlackBerry, and Symbian mobile devices. Not much information is given on the controls for this game but from what I can tell from the screen shot this game will be both touch and tilt controlled. There are two arrows on the screen this probably is there for the cannon on the tank.

The missions seem pretty much the same according to the information given about the game,

“The goal of each round of play is to clear the enemy from a map sector and drive them off the far bank of a river so that your side can cross and advance. Skills you will need to accomplish this are a working trigger finger, the ability to navigate West or East (left and right on the overhead map), and driving ability sufficient to crash into other vehicles.”

The game is available for the high price of $9.99 and because there is no real information on the game I would hold off for now.
