5 iPhone games you should own

There have already been 241 games released for the iPhone so far; that is roughly 34 games released a day since the App Store went live last Thursday. With all these games how do you know what is good and what is, well, crap? Here the 5 games you should own for the iPhone; basically these are the best of the best.

Clicking the name of each title will take you to their App Store page.

  1. Dizzy Bee- I have already reviewed this game so you should know my thoughts on it. Developed by basically one man this game is a LocoRoco style game that uses the iPhones tilt controls perfectly. The game only costs $2.99 and is worth every penny. If you purchase  one game from the App Store let this be the one.
  2. Tap Tap Revenge- Think Guitar Hero clone for the iPhone. The game is free and is a rhythm based game were you have to tap the beats of a song. As I stated the game is free and if you rank in the top ten with a score you could win prizes like an iPod Touch. The game is addictive and new songs are being released every week.
  3. De Blob- Another game I have already reviewed. Released by THQ De Blob is a toned down version of the upcoming Wii game. Despite being just that, a toned down game, its a lot of fun and is great to pick up and play for a few minutes each day. Basically you are  blob to has to add color to a gloomy city, simple but fun. I would tell you the price but THQ keeps Changing it so you will have to check it out for yourself.
  4. Aurora Feint- Fun.Free.Massive. This game is still very much in an Alpha state but the current version is so much fun to play. Described as an RPG Puzzle game Aurora Feint combines the two best parts of these genres, leveling up and solving puzzles. As I said the current release is limited and all you can basically do at this point is level up and do puzzles, the abilities you learn cannot be used until the new update is released(it has been released and its waiting to be posted onto the App Store).
  5. Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart- A simple kart racer that is so much like Mario Kart there is almost no learning curve. The controls are responsive and the graphics are decent, think N64 quality, there are three race modes and hours of gameplay here. This is the best racing game released for the iPhone so far and should not hesitate to buy it over Cro-mag Rally.

There you have the best games on the iPhone so far. I know there are some big titles I left, cough — Super Monkey Ball — cough, but I chose the games that were the most fun to play. If you think I left a title off of the list let us know via a comment.
